One man shares a personal story and a mission as told by one man who was sent with a team to Europe to root out terrorists who were found to be involved in a plot to disrupt a major matrimonial event somewhere in the UK.
Three people on a European council were to be followed closely as to their activities until a team composed of SEAL snipers, Army Reserve, and members of the local military took swift action with capturing one and killing the head man of it all: a council member who was thinking of going to run for PM. This tale of heroism is pretty emotional with a first-person slant that is unlike no other.
They say that snipers in the Marine Corps are the best in the world because of their tough training. I would incline to agree with that because I was one such sniper not too long ago in my distant past. In fact, I was awarded recently with medals for bravery and the like for my performance of a recent event in Europe that I had wanted to write and share with the world. However, I have had to delay this because I just recently retired from the military due to some injuries I incurred from this latest mission that I’m continuing to get therapy for. You will find out what kind of injury I have as this story goes on.
Basically, the therapy I’m involved with is part physical and part psychological. This great therapist I recently found and meet with at least once a week is a writing and art therapist and encouraged me to write down about my experiences. This psychologist that my fiancé’ recommended to me is really cool. She’s a free spirit like me and is very flexible. In fact, it was from our therapy sessions that I got inspired to write my story and share it with others because I want to put a human face on the military and especially in my line of work.
So, let’s begin...
