Stranger In The Night

Seth Palmer is the most laid back private detective around. His two passions are surfing and anything having to do with Frank Sinatra. He is very non-confrontational and therefore does all of his sleuthing from afar using sophisticated listening devices and long range photo equipment. He only takes cases involving insurance scams and cheating spouses.

He is approached by a seductive woman who wants to hire him to find her missing husband. He explains to her that he does not do that type of work but when she begs him to take the case and then offers him a great deal of money he finally agrees to look for her husband.

The case takes many strange twists and turns including a murdered bank worker and several attempts on Seth Palmer's life. With the help of his best friend, Bummer, his martial arts expert girlfriend, Jenny and a long lost friend with mob connections named Sammy The Spade, Seth stumbles about trying to find the missing husband.
