Joyce Marie Powell and Tracey Anne Schacher are sisters that collaborated to write this children's book. They grew up playing together in an imaginary world which was filled with talking stuff animals that faced real life scenarios. In writing this book, Joyce hopes to share the joy she experienced in her childhood with children.
Both the writer and illustrator are from Charlotte, NC. Joyce currently lives in NJ where she achieved a MS degree in Medicinal Chemistry from Rutgers. Joyce enjoys reading and spending time with friends and family. Tracey currently lives in NC and achieved an associate's of arts degree from Central Piedmont Community College. Tracey is always very creative and she enjoys clay work, drawing, and collecting. Tracey is an artist with bipolar disorder.
