Tyranny & The Devil

This nervous and choleric rant
in which I find myself is my great
misfortune. Add to this that my
appetites and passions were few and
you have a keen sense of my
disposition. But what was more, I
want to know, is this clamor of society
surmountable? I seem to shudder for
lack of tenderness and I am dwarfed
in my affairs. I do not want ’them’ to
make of me the devil! Whomever
’they’ are is laying in wait. What I
want to say favorably upon this
morning is that, at times, it is a
stroke of good fortune biding my
time with the errantry of the fantastic.
However, equally so, do you see, it is
tantamount to suicide as you will espy.
My cunning is limitless though ‘they’
raise objections that are beyond
reproach. Am I wasting time in my
efforts to draw a bead on such
subjects? The subject, that is, of pursuit
and foul play."
