The purpose of this TB is to inform UH-60 users of the revised procedures to determine correct bearing shim thickness to attain the correct assembly preload and require that this new shimming procedure be implemented within 500 flight hours. In addition, this TB will identify specific serial numbered tail rotor blades manufactured with composite retainers. These blades will require shim correction within 150 hours and once identified to the logistical POC will be corrected by a Sikorsky field service team.
