x-boxer Vincent Madrid is falsely arrested for murder and sent to Rikers Island to await trial. The year is 1992. Scandal and corruption are in the air. The corrections officers at Rikers are over-the-top and out-of-control. Vincent could never have predicted that he would have to battle officer Anton Majak in the prison yard. Madrid, surviving the breathtaking tilt, is sent to Sing-Sing where he does his time. In 2004, he is released from prison and picked up at the gates by the gangster Notorious Johnny Vargas.
