By coincidence or not, the city of St. Paul has it in for property-holding women. How dare they live in a city that has designs on their property! Here you will find the stories of three female homeowners and of a woman who owned a bar. All of them deserved to be punished according to St. Paul city officials. A Catholic priest accused the bar owner of prancing around the bar in her underwear. (How would he know?) An inspections supervisor made a homeowner an offer she could not refuse: Sell your house to my buddy for $40,000 or I’ll see to it that the property becomes a hole in the ground. (And indeed it was torn down.) And then there is the racketeering lawsuit against the city of St. Paul where city officials shredded key documents. Cities in states that have a reputation for clean government can get away with anything.
