Duffytown Boy

Duffytown Boy is the story about Creston R. Southard's childhood in Duffytown, Pennsylvania, during those Great Depression years; the Halloween night he was stricken with polio; his fight to recover from the effects of that dreaded disease; his participation in salvaging and repairing the damaged Pacific fleet after the bombing of Pearl Harbor; meeting his wife Ella in that tropical paradise after WWII; the many accomplishments in the years after WWII; the 65 years of Creston and Ella's marriage; and his continuing fight with his post-polio syndrome.
