American Compromise

Steven Matthews is a middle-aged man working a job that he doesn't mind. He lives a content and arguably productive life until a young twenty-something year-old boy, Mathew, comes and mucks it all up as he tries to get Steven to follow his past dreams. After pushing him outside of his comfort zone (Ohio), Mathew and Steven end up on the other side of the country with only one way to get back home. Though not always entirely Mathew's fault, many of the problems that befall them are those given by the universe and other unfortunate coincidences. Together, they tackle their pasts as they learn about each other, the world and most importantly, themselves.
