Leaving Deseret

Set in 1893, Mt. Carmel schoolmarm, Sarieh Lee, learns on the night of her sealing to become a plural wife, that she was adopted as a body, with no explanation from her Mormon father, Wilber Lee, as to who her real parents might have been. She finds the life she knew falling apart when she is forced to flee the State of Deseret. She falls in love with a federal mine inspector, only to face life's challenges of survival on her own. Tracked by a federal marshal and threatened by the man who killed her birth parents, Sarieh finds she hasn't hidden deep enough in the isolated canyons of the Huachaca Mountains in southern Arizona that trouble doesn't find her. "Leaving Deseret" is the first in a series of romance/suspense novels entitled, "Army of Angels," that traces the Mormon's Avenging Angels (Danites) through the bloodline of Wilber Lee's family.
Rich in Mormon history, "Leaving Deseret" is full of mystery and mayhem and love and tragedy.
