Blood Alley A Short Story

Robert (Bubba) Haines is a beer drinking,tobacco spitting, womanizing, wheelholding truck driver who is way behind schedule on a run to Miami. As he is driving south on Hwy 27 which runs north from Canada to Miami he is on a stretch of road which is a two lane blacktop between Sarasota and Miami known as Blood Alley. Bubba is following a full moon which keeps him from running over something in the middle of the road. That unauthorized stop will change his life forever.
