This book Links the reader with research done by Dr. Carl David Agardh in Sweden in which he clinically established that blood flow is increased in the brain following induced hypoglycemia. The book also describes a single incident of possible stroke damage repair that followed a hypoglycemic coma. The unexpected effect of this coma was consistent with Dr. Agardh’s research findings. The next step toward establishing an effective stroke damage repair therapy based on induced hypoglycemia would be a thorough clinical evaluation to determine if increased blood flow in the brain might be beneficial as a post-stroke therapy. Could increased blood flow within a few hours of the stroke aid in the healing of stroke-injured brain cells before they would otherwise be lost? If this thesis were to be validated, there could be potential profit for insulin manufacturers, medical personnel and institutions, and also for stroke victims themselves.
