Eternity

'Eternity' is a standalone short story that is the introductory chapter to the epic 'The Rowdizian Chronicles.' Numb from the need for constant readiness required to battle a civilization with unlimited resources, a chronically fatigued squadron leader and her last surviving wingman discuss life eternal. Having fought for years and knowing the only means of rest comes from either wounding, death, or the cessation of hostilities, the pair find strength through shared love and ideals.
