ADELE Laurie Blue Adkins was born on May 5, 1988 in Tottenham, North London, England, UK. She’s an English singer and songwriter popularly known as ADELE. She was raised alone by her mother. Her mother is a furniture-maker and adult learning activities organizer. ADELE started singing at the early age of four. Since then, singing has been her obsession. In several interviews, ADELE said that her biggest musical influence was the famous Spice Girls.

As a child, she was known to impersonate the Spice Girls while singing at dinner parties. She would sometimes do a little concert in her room for her mother and her mom’s friends. Because of her love of singing, her dad’s best friend, a dance producer, discovered that she had a nice voice. He was instrumental in the invitation she received to record and do a cover for “Heart of Glass.” From the moment she held the microphone, she realized that singing was her calling and that it brought her great happiness.

This is meant to be a short read about Adele’s Life and Rise to Fame and Fortune as an international singer. This is in no way a complete and comprehensive read, but does offer the reader a snapshot to a popular singer and entertainer that has the juice to be a successful singer/songwriter for years to come.
