A Funny Thing Happened When I Was In

This amusing travelogue book is a culmination of over 30 years of my personal business and leisure travel while working in the airline industry, told in a collection of short stories. My travels have taken me to over 70 countries and my goal has been to recall at least one humorous anecdote from most of these visits.


My desire has been to share these humorous experiences so that others may enjoy them, fondly recall similar experiences or circumstances, or to encourage readers to visit some of these locations that I have had the privilege to explore.


I am encouraged that when I have shared these stories with others, they were always met with a positive reaction – from a knowing smile and a nod to an outright belly laugh. I hope you find similar enjoyment.
