William "Divot" Mulligan

The lore of a wonderful golf course and the appeal of a mild climate with only three seasons enticed George Shane to a paradise in Northern Florida. Soon he became involved with an unusual group of senior golfers who play a strange version of the game. The leader of the group is the charismatic William "Divot" Mulligan. He designed a unique format that enables senior golfers to play enjoyable stress-free golf. Shane had never been happier on a golf course. Unfortunately, the group's idyllic life would become enmeshed in a controversy involving all golfers and forcing Divot to enter uncharted waters. He now faced the biggest challenge of his life, a test of his character.
