Channeling Mr. Rogers and Warhol

Bobby discovers and emulates Mr. Rogers as a young boy. His concerned father directs to baseball by introducing him to the great Roberto Clemente. Another positive influence, a teacher, introduces him to George Romero and a love of movie making. In high school he discovers Andy Warhol and a love for pop art. Along the way, he is confronted by bullying and tragedy. Through the love and positive influence of his role models and parents, he survives and thrives. Set in Pittsburgh, the City of Champions, the book is part tribute to a great city as well as creative parenting and compassionate adults.
