Overcoming Shadows from a Child

"Wycliffe was born in the island of Nevis, West Indies, the son of Mrs. Margery Tyson and Samuel Tyson. He grew up to middle class parents and lived on the island until age fifteen. His mother immigrated to the U.S. after his father died, and brought him, along with three other siblings. In his story he tells of his upbringing on the island, life in the U.S., adventurous experiences while serving in the military, merchant marines, his mental obstacles, and desire for a higher education. This work will intrigue the reader."
