This is a story of one mans quest for a quiet place to rest his mind from the work-a-day stress of modern living in a fast paced world. He seeks solitude to rest and relax and to regain a balance of his mind, body, and soul. He ends up gaining a spiritual awakening that he needed more than anything else. Johnny SkyHawk is a young Choctaw Indian who goes to the mountains of Sedona Arizona to rest after a three year very stressful job but instead he has to rescue a young Apache Princess from a kidnapper and then he has to track down and catch a mountain lion that has been killing people. Throughout the story different things will happen that will trigger a memory and he will remember some spiritual thing his grandfather taught him when he was just a kid. This book is the first one in a nine book series and the grandfather teachings are an integral part of each book in the series.
