Adirondack Detective

Drawing on his twenty-eight years as a retired member of the New York State Police, John H. Briant develops his first novel, Adirondack Detective. His early childhood introduced him to the Adirondack Park as he rode with his father, who was a logger and a harvester of pulpwood in the early 1930's. Displaying his love for the Adirondack Mountains and the people who reside there, Briant, weaves the lives of Jason Black, the Adirondack Detective, and the character's family and friends, so the reader is swept up into their daily lives as criminal elements invade this pristine area of natural beauty.
