The Tom Sawyer Trilogy by Mark Twain

THE ADVENTURES OF TOM SAWYER follows the life of a young boy growing up along the Mississippi River in the antebellum South. Set in the fictional Missouri town of St. Petersburg (based on Mark Twain's hometown of Hannibal), young Tom Sawyer is a mischievous lad who is constantly getting into scrapes with his best friend, Huckleberry Finn. The two get into various misadventures including playing hooky, running away to become pirates, and inadvertently witnessing a murder.

This edition also includes the sequels TOM SAWYER ABROAD and TOM SAWYER, DETECTIVE, detailing the further adventures of Tom Sawyer as he grows up.
