Dis My Wagon

Dis My Wagon is a short story set in rural southern neighborhood during the early 60's. This short fun loving story is about a little city girl that finds herself in the country, in the company of two of the busiest barefooted country girls in the Florida panhandle, Mott and Rose, fighting for her life. This is one of the many childhood experiences of young Mott a bright, inquisitive, and imaginative little girl growing up among the older and colorful members of a small close knit southern community. Raised by her Grandparents whose love, wisdom and anecdote taught her grand lessons that kept her grounded. Little Mott narrates each story with an urgent zeal and an innocence that is certain to warm your heart and evoke fond memories of childhood.
