Mott the Menace

Mott the Menace is a short story set in the rural southern neighborhood during the early 60's. This story takes a Little Mott into the world of discovery. the discovery of the skin she's in and the skin of color, and texture of their hair. She tried to learn how it's perceived in the eyes of the public with the help of her loving Grandma. One of the many childhood experience of young Mott, a bright, inquisitive and imaginative little girl growing up among the older and colorful members of a small close-knit southern community. Raised by her grandparents whose love, wisdom, and anecdote taught her grand lessons that kept her grounded.
