Saturday Morning Walk is a short story about an overly, active, free spirited little girl, who's Grandma is determined to awaken her and save from the dangers of life. She takes her on a walk one early Saturday morning to the community cemetery. To introduce her to some friend of hers from long time ago. This is only one of many childhood experiences of young Mott, a bright, inquisitive and imaginative little girl growing up among the older and colorful members of a small close knit southern community. Raised by her grandparents whose, love, wisdom and anecdotes taught her grand lessons that kept her grounded.
