Kaa'Sa'Nee, The Last Anasazi

Kaa'Sa'Nee let her mind drift with wind and music as a longing deep inside her heart tightened its grip. She was remembering her mother's words: "Someday the running man will come at Aha'Tae and he will take your heart from you. It will be so. With him will come a time of great happiness as well as many different new paths to follow. Great hardship is soon to fall on this land. Black days will be coming with the dust. There will be a great upheaval."

As the sun was setting Kaa'Sa'Nee was in deep thought about her mother's words. This matter, she decided, would take a lot of dream time. Just then Aha'Tae(Big Cat) nudged her with his questioning purr.

Douglas Allen Waters, soon to be a high school senior, had heard the flute music on the wind. He did not know it yet but his search for the music goddess would create a first love between two people that would go down in history as a love beyond comparison.
