Enlightened

This book begins with an experience from my own childhood, which my mother remembers vividly as if it were yesterday instead of forty (cough) years ago. After chapter one it takes you on a journey through the teenaged life of a girl named Andi who unbeknownst to her, possesses a very special gift. Though she denies that she possesses anything special, and doubts that it even exists; her gift leads her to true love while also warning her of impending danger.
