Depression: Traveling Light in Times of Darkness

The “blahs” is a description my mother used to apply when she was having a bad day. What she usually meant was that she just could not get the motivation or the energy to jumpstart her day. As an adult, I have realized exactly how the “blahs” work on the human emotions. The actual term for these emotions is depression. Depression ranges in severity from mild sadness like the “blahs” to thoughts of suicide. Sadly, almost every human being has had some form of depression throughout a lifetime."Traveling Light in Times of Darkness" is about one woman's victorious journey through depression.
