Ms. Irene is so Demanding

Oftentimes, adults neglect to involve children in conversations about severe predicaments. Hurricane Irene dominated most, if not all adult conversations during its passing. "Ms. Irene Is So Demanding" is written from a child's perspective. The child tells her story about the events leading up to the hurricane. The story provides children with the opportunity to take part in a conversation about a shared experience, that they were voided from.
