Buffalo Belles

A marvelous new look at the Old West as seen through the lives of three intrepid pioneers. First, the leading ladies, Dalphine and Ruby Delaquaa. Born to slavery, but by way of circumstance, beauty, style, grace, charm, and nerves of steel over come their humble beginnings. So much so that by the year 1847 they were by far the two most infamous ladies on the Mississippi River. Second, the leading man, one Dickie Drummond. A hard working owner of a horse farm in rural Kentucky. A man who dedicated the first half of his life to taking care of his mother and running his farm. A man with a grand dream of a better life in California. It is the tragic death of both his dear mother and his estranged father that changes his dream into a reality. His mother's death gave him the freedom to go, his father's death provides him with two slaves that will be the labor force he needs to succeed in his new venture, or so he thinks.
