Cup

Cup picks up where Mona stopped, as Mona and the Family push Cup, Jack, R, Vera, Hector, Leaf, Precious, Mardy, and Bud forward. Some members self destruct under the pressure to succeed, and still others prosper as the Family builds a new franchise empire. Lovers are lost and new ones found. Cup loses Tac but finds Jack, Bud, and Leaf. Spike dies in Cup’s arms. Mona marries Amos in a ceremony joining six other couples. Leaf and Velvet, his mother, divorce his violent father and flee under new names Seed and Precious Moment. Josie selects Cup to be the father of her child. Aunties Sam and Sugarlee nestle down as a couple for the first time in their lives. The older generation mellows and the younger generation grows stronger. Clarion University is put under the microscope.
