My interest in missions began the day I understood God’s command to His people to go and preach the gospel to all corners of the earth. Why?
Because if you do not repent and give your life to Jesus as your Savior, when you die, you go to hell. If your repent and give your life to Jesus, when you die you’ll be with Him forever in heavens. If we love others as Christians are commanded to do, we don’t want them to burn in hell for eternity.
We have arrived at a time in history that Jesus foresaw when He instructed us to reach the world with His Word. World Missions is no longer across the oceans. The nations have moved to the neighborhoods, to the extent that we are no longer geographically distant, but culturally different. We must remember that as soldiers, armed with the Gospel of Christ, we are facing an enemy who is relentless. This is real warfare, a very serious business and Satan’s purpose is to prolong Christ return by allowing other world religions gain ahead of Christianity.
Therefore, and like the title of this book reminds us, we must tell those who
are willing to obey and answer the call, to listen carefully and they will hear the Cry of the Lost.
Sometimes is so soft, you have to listen hard
Sometimes is like a child crying and it breaks your heart
Sometimes is a murmur from really, really far
Sometimes sounds like a shout coming from the wild
But no matter how it really sounds
It is always the desperate cry
Reaching out to God, breaking down the walls
