MURDER MOST VILE- REVISED contains two discrete novels: TESS and REQUIEM FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN. In Tess, New York detective Jimmy Croft, with the aid of Tess Gardner, America's greatest living poet, tracts down the monster who is killing New York's most beautiful models. In Requiem, a former Southern American president is found dead in fron of his office building in New York at 6:00 in the morning. He is nuded and the word RAPIST is written across his forhead in red lipstick. Croft eventually finds the killers but at a terrible personal price. Both novels are intended only for sophisticated adult readers.
