Spill and Her Rose-Colored Glasses is a very cool story about a person who is an original work of art, just like you. As you read along, you will see that you can achieve your dreams, do amazing things and really make a difference, if your heart and your aim are true and you never, ever give up.
I wrote this little story 18 years ago, when my two beautiful children were just babies. We had been watching the usual, mainstream movies for children and I was disappointed in the quality of the stories offered. It seemed that they were all either depressing and a bit violent or just mindless. It became my goal to offer the children a story that would teach them a bit about compassion and using their imagination to explore the feelings of others. So I cranked out Spill & Her Rose-Colored Glasses, loosely based on my hopes and dreams as an artist. I hoped it would become published and then animated in a series. No publisher wanted it, some even said it was too sweet.
Thankfully today, we can e-publish!! I'm so excited to be able to share it with the world now! My illustrations are a bit on the rudimentary side, I didn't have much time to draw when my children were babies, but I think it adds to the character of the story! I still believe in the message of this story, it's timeless and I plan to crank out more!
Thank you for reading!!
