How To Organize and Develop a Teenage Pregnancy Prevention Program/Teenage Enrichment Model Program

Rev. Dr. Daniel L. Brown of Arlington, Virginia has been a pastor in the City of Alexandria, VA for twenty-five years. Over the last ten years Dr. Brown has been able to fulfill a lifelong dream of developing a community outreach program to provide assistance to victims of HIV/AIDS; alcohol and substance abuse; the prevention of teen pregnancy; improving parenting skills among young adults and low self-esteem within both groups. Dr. Brown established this program as an outreach arm of the church he planted in 1999. Members of Dr. Brown’s church, “First Agape Baptist Community of Faith” assumed positions of leadership in this outreach ministry. The program of this ministry was designed to successfully reach out into the minority community to make a difference in the lives of people who have not had an opportunity to be successful based on some condition or circumstance in life.
