Puzzle Creek

In the second Trout Brooke mystery, six young girls are being held at Puzzle Creek, a ghost mining camp high in the Adamantine Mountains of Montana. Painter and environmentalist Trout Brooke, along with Cecil Penland, head of security for the nearby World Daily Ranch, investigate the kidnapping. While the savvy Sharpe sisters work on their end to survive, Brooke seeks to bring them safely home and discover the identity of a murderer.
