Polar Dog

"Polar Dog" is Robert F. Lyons’ first children's novel; it was inspired by his own dog named Arrow. The story follows Seffin, a sweet Arctic-born polar bear cub who doesn’t like his surroundings – his wish makes his family question his identity! Separated from his mother, on his own, an outcast - he struggles to find acceptance. Seffin attaches himself to a pack of huskies who become his adventurous and hilarious friends. After a lot of hard work he becomes one of the best in the kennel. Just when it seems he's realized the joy of his dream he encounters a huge problem that threatens to ruin his life and that of the ten-year old boy he loves.
