The Analects of Confucius

THE ANALECTS OF CONFUCIUS is a collection of wisdom and sayings attributed to Chinese philosopher Confucius. The philosophy of Confucius emphasized morality in government and personal affairs, proper social relationships, especially respect for one's parents and elders, social, moral, and legal justice and sincerity in all relationships. Confucius' teachings serve as the basis for the philosophy of Confucianism, which was the dominant philosophy of China during the Han Dynasty (206 B.C. - 220 A.D.).
