Collected Works of L. Scott Swanson

Collected Works of L. Scott Swanson is a collection of short columns and stories written by Swanson over the past 15 years. The columns and stories first appeared in the Straitsland Resorter, a weekly newspaper in Indian River, Michigan. Most of the stories are humorous and related to family life. Among the stories are April Fools fabrications, which have become one of the newspapers most popular features. Subject matter includes everything from women mean enough to thrash mountain lions, windmills that shift the earth's crust, genetically engineered freshwater lobsters and children's questions regarding organ replacement.
