Help! My Friends Are Taking Me to an Indian Restaurant!

This little mini-book is the first in a series of short guides to various types of ethnic restaurants that are common in the United States. These guides are not meant to be comprehensive, or even particularly well-rounded. They are meant to be useful, affordable, super-quick, and to-the-point. They are aimed at people who have never been to certain types of restaurants and would like a little help choosing something to eat on their first few visits. They are, in other words, a kind of culinary triage — not in the sense of sorting disaster victims, but in the sense of determining priorities for action in an emergency situation.
