Josie Crump Trimble’s verse appeared often in the Tulsa World and won awards from the Oklahoma Writers Club. She flourished brightest during the gritty and dark Great Depression, but illness cut short her career. She bequeathed her literary scrapbook to her Pulitzer Prize-winner son, Vance H. Trimble, who selected and edited this collection.
