Author Donald Keyhoe sets out to convince an oft skeptical public of the reality of flying saucers, their extraterrestrial origins, and the U.S. Government's role in covering up the truth. Among the many ideas Keyhoe promulgated was the clandestine adaptation of salvaged alien technology by the U.S. Government.
