Slow Dance in Paris

Smitten when a French woman asks her to dance in a Paris nightclub, free-spirited American Sophie has a lot to learn. She has never been with a woman before. Besides, she is on her study year abroad and about to go to school on the other side of the country.

With plans to meet again in Paris, Sophie and her new crush say goodbye, and Sophie continues to traveling with her friend Jade. It's the seventies in pre-socialist France. The gay movement is just gaining momentum It's a time of hippies, mini-skirts and political strikes.

Caught in a strike, and forced to make some big decisions for herself, Sophie doesn't want to lose track of the woman in Paris. What ensues is a delightful and passionate love story that follows a universal pattern: coming of age, coming out and claiming oneself.
