In April, 2009, the former Vice-President of the United States is indicted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for ordering the 83rd waterboarding of a compliant and cooperating detainee. As a new President confronts the ICC’s warrant for the former Vice-President’s arrest, a dead man is found in a sand trap at a South Florida Country Club. Experience eight days of playing and working at the Country Club as its members, guests and workers discuss what the President should do as the Club prepares for a wedding which the former Vice-President and his wife will attend. Elaborate plans of three interested parties await the former Vice-President. Amid the wreckage of a degrading economy, the Country Club struggles to survive as its people try to come to terms with a moral line that has been crossed.
