Testing the Waters

Testing the Waters consists of two science fiction novelettes that explore experiences related to growing up (and the opposite) in fast paced, action-oriented story lines.

In Critical Decisions a young man laments the loss of his adolescent friendships and struggles to find his direction in life while attempting rescue the very friends from whom he has become estranged.

In Third Life, we see a very different situation, in which an old man must come to grips with the frightening reality of growing young again and the destruction of the legacy of his first life, even as he is being hunted by an enemy from his forgotten past.

Testing the Waters is a self-published work by first-time author Charles Drew Stanley.
