This is a very interesting conceptual book not about a physical journey, but an emotional journey. For the immature teenagers "powerstudying" this at school who do not understand that, the book will seem boring and verbose. However someone who actually thinks and considers while reading will thoroughly enjoy seeing Pip mature and become less and less superficial as he discovers where his true loyalty should lie.
