Rosie the Riveter

Rosie the Riveter, a cultural icon in the U.S., represented the American women who worked in factories during World War II. These women often took unfamiliar jobs replacing the male workers who were being drafted or joining the military. This 64 page book of almost 6,000 words contains over 100 color unretoiuched photographs made from 4x5 transparencies taken between 1942, and 1945.
