This edition includes:
Part 1 – The Story of a Prison Wife
Part 2 – Not So Perfect After All
People never understood my condition, neither did I. Sometimes when family members insisted, I thought marrying a high-society guy would shut the mouth of the so – called society which raised its eye brows every time I went to prison to visit my husband. But then I was never of the kind of woman who would forsake her husband. So was my plight.
I could not let go of my hardships and mockery by marrying someone else, nor could I tolerate being the subject of ridicule of high-society. It was indeed becoming impossible to live life with the tag of a prisoner’s wife on my forehead. After he was proven guilty and sentenced to 10 years in a maximum security prison, taunts and jeers followed wherever I went throughout my town.
But, was I even capable of loving another man... even it he was Mr. Perfect?
Apparently, I was, or so I thought, as I began to date Mr. Perfect. We even began to talk of marriage, which was just what my bougie family wanted. But, not only did I still long for my husband, Mr. Perfect was turning out to be someone I was beginning to fear. Come to find out, he wasn't so perfect after all.
