An Interracial Romance Novel

Good Cop Meets Bad Boy... What would you follow? Your Heart or The Law?

Life paths that crossed momentarily in a Miami high school converge once more, ten years later on the Miami streets, when Officer Misha Barrett, daughter of a fallen cop, arrests Mark "Nello" Giovanello, an ex-con and the son of a drug addict. This time, the pull of lust, curiosity and admiration keeps these paths entwined. Soon there is no fighting the profound love that binds them together. Both, however, will find themselves fighting for their very lives.

What readers are saying...

· Addictions Thanks for such a refreshing story line! It's not often I enjoy a novel as much as I did TATTED. This was a very realistic love story - maybe not specifically a cop falling for a dope boy, but a woman having a NORMAL courtship and relationship progression with a good man...past mistakes behind him, you could absolutely feel his sincerity to improve his situation.

· Avid Reader Tatted captured my interest from the first page...Mark is a sexy, urban, alpha male with a sensitive side that just makes him sexier. Misha is the epitome of a strong professional woman...If you're looking for a well written original love story with a little spice then look no further than Tatted.

· Gypsi Hart This book has a different flavor. It's opposites attract and both characters save each other. I love that Mark doesn't wear a suit or has the usual 9 to 5 in an office somewhere. He's a "around the way" guy that is realistic and a good guy who made some bad choices.

· M. Hallahan This was a good one, it flipped the script and gave us the thug white guy and a black female officer. I loved that Mark slowly weaves himself into Misha's heart...I'm sorry I waited so long to read it.

· velvetgypsy "Tatted" is a touching and sexy love story. This is the second novel that I've read by Ms LaRuse; I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend.
