Hot Stove League, baseball’s sizzling season features Madison Reed, a beautiful African-American woman who works at her father’s sports bar and mans the Cubs fan website. This Chicago native is a diehard Cubs Fan. After meeting tall, clean-shaven, brown-eyed cutie Marcus Holden at a recent Cubs game - the sparks fly. He’s amused by her knowledge of the game and trashing of new management. She believes him to be just another Cubs fan…cute…but too uptight for her taste. Unbeknownst to her—Marcus just happens to be “new management.” The two meet later at another Cubs’ game. Madison realizes who her new “friend” is when he sings “Take Me out to the Ball Game” during the seventh inning stretch! Madison and Marcus’ love affair takes them on a wild ride of intrigue, romance and excitement—and it gets even better when Madison meets Marcus’ wife!
