We all have a charge in life that we must keep and I have finally come into the full
knowledge of mine and what it means.
Just as the great men and women of the Bible, God lets certain things happen in our lives
so that we can speak from experience of His goodness.
This is no different. God has been good to me, I could not write a book big enough and I
do not think there are enough words in the English language to try to begin to describe
the favor He has shown in my life. There has been so many times that I just wanted to
give up and let Satan have his victory. God’s grace and mercy kept me and I couldn’t let
go.
The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy! I had always heard that but never really knew
the extent of the value in that statement until I truly learned and accepted the calling on
my life.
The devil, in his own right, is a smart creature and he knew that if I survived and grew and
learned from my mistakes that he and NOTHING in the depths of Hell could turn me from
Jesus and all the blessings that are in Heaven waiting to be showered into my life.
I have learned to LET THE RAIN FALL.
Chains are broken and yokes are destroyed when the rain falls.
I now appreciate all of the STORMS (what I saw as storms) that have passed in my life.
Those storms have been my emergency evacuation drills (so to say)..
I now know that when I see the warning signs, I need to pack up (get my Bible) and
evacuate (pray until a change comes).
The devil will never tempt you with something that does not appeal to you.
Whatever your weakness is, he will make sure that you nearly destroy yourself in your
self indulgence.
He does not want you to heal and have a testimony. He does not want you to forgive and
LIVE. He does not want you to praise God anyhow. He does not want you to be a
blessing to some boy or girl with your story.
I have made a LIAR out of him…. WILL YOU?
